What are three words to describe your style?
1. Classic
2. Edited
3. Timeless
Tell us about your childhood bedroom? My childhood bedroom was in Long Island, New York. My mom put in wallpaper with houses on it, so I was always looking at beautiful pictures of house facades on a lavender background. That was probably the subliminal start of my design career.
What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? When I graduated from college, I bought an old section of a wood fluted column that I turned into a base to my dining table. I bought it at an antique market, and I still have it to this day!
In the history of design, if you could hire any designer other than yourself, who would it be? Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler.

Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? They do! They’re tailored, edited, and timeless.
Who is your star crush? James Bond’s Pierce Brosnan
What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it?
Pattern on pattern on pattern.
