If you could have a second home anywhere, where would you live? The English countryside

What are three words to describe your style? 1. Eclectic 2. Classic 3. Cool

Tell us about your childhood bedroom? We moved a lot but my favorite childhood bedroom was during my princess period. A four poster and a matching dresser. Very chic and pink.

What’s the first investment piece you ever bought for your house? A Larry Sultan art work.

In the history of design, if you could hire any designer other than yourself, who would it be? Joseph Dirand.

No room is complete without great lighting.

People think of me as too nice, but I am really tougher than they think!

If you were on an Ambien high and internet shopping, what would you buy? An Amy Sherald from the gallery.

Do your clothes reflect your design sensibility, if so, how? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Ha!

Who is your star crush? No way am I telling!

What is the thing you would never do on a project, but don’t detest when you see others do it? Vinyl flooring. I can’t wrap my head around installing it, but once in awhile you see a cool pattern done with vinyl and I have to confess, it’s not bad.

If there were a fire, and you could only keep one design book, what would it be? Any book by Joseph Dirand.

For posterity, what would you like your work to be known for? Making people feel good.
